Doha: Qatar University (QU), represented by its Central Laboratories Unit (CLU), organized a scientific symposium on green analytical chemistry, bringing together a distinguished group of experts, researchers, and specialists to highlight the role of green chemistry in developing analytical laboratory practices and promoting sustainability in scientific research.
According to Qatar News Agency, in his opening remarks, Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies at QU, Dr. Mohammed Al Safran, emphasized the University's commitment to embedding sustainability principles within its research ecosystem. He noted that organizing this symposium affirms QU's dedication to implementing environmentally friendly laboratory practices and raising awareness about the importance of transitioning to more sustainable and less environmentally impactful analytical technologies, in line with accelerating global trends in this field.
