Doha: Director-General of the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) Ibrahim Abdullah Al Duhaimi met with HE Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Lebanon Haneen Sayed: The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in charitable and developmental fields, exploring opportunities for coordination, and exchanging experiences.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting involved presentations on the SANADY domestic aid coordination platform and RACA's electronic portal. These presentations highlighted RACA's commitment to digital transformation and the development of electronic services to facilitate charitable work procedures while enhancing transparency and governance.
Discussions also covered Qatar's charitable sector strategy for 2025-2030, the philanthropic environment index, and Qatar's progress in this index. These discussions emphasized RACA's efforts in sector development and its role in supporting sustainable development.
At the meeting's conclusion, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination in shared areas of interest. They agreed to exchange experiences between relevant institutions in both countries to promote humanitarian values and advance charitable and developmental work in the region.
