Real Estate Trading Reaches QAR 473 Million Last Week

Muscat: The volume of real estate trading in sales contracts at the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice during the period from Jan. 25-29, reached QAR 389,321,812. Meanwhile, the total sales contracts for residential units in the Real Estate Bulletin for the same period is QAR 84,195,286, bringing the total trading value for the week to QAR 473.517 million.

According to Qatar News Agency, the weekly bulletin issued by the Department shows that the list of real estate properties traded for sale has included vacant land, residences, residential buildings, commercial shops, hotel apartments, and residential units. Sales were concentrated in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Dhakhira, Umm Salal, Al Shamal, and the areas of The Pearl, Al Wukair, Lusail 69, Al Khuraij, Legtaifiya, Ghar Thuailib, Al Mashaf, and Al Sakhama.

The volume of real estate transactions in sales contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice exceeded QAR 716 million during the period from Jan. 18-22.
