Gaza - Ma'an - The Primary Health Care Department of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society is participating in the national campaign for vaccination against polio, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and UNRWA. The campaign aims to vaccinate children under the age of ten with the second dose in the central governorate of the Gaza Strip, as part of ongoing efforts to protect children from infectious diseases, especially with the deterioration of health conditions in the Strip. The campaign will last for three days, with the possibility of extending it for an additional day if necessary, and will include the following clinics: Deir al-Balah Clinic, al-Bassa Clinic, al-Sawarah Clinic, al-Zawaida Clinic, and al-Nuseirat Clinic. Daily vaccination times will be from 7 am to 1 pm. In addition to vaccination, vitamin A supplements will be provided to children, to boost their immunity amid health challenges linked to deteriorating hygiene standards in Gaza. This support comes in collaboration with UNICEF, which provides essential supplements for children. Source: Maan News Agency
