Manama, Registration for the national programme, Lamea, opens tomorrow and will accept applications directly from youth interested in enrolling, Rawan bin Najeeb Tawfeeqi, the Youth Affairs Minister said. The minister said the modification of the application process came at the instructions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to engage a bigger number of young and creative talent in the programme. Lamea aims to create promising young leaders and a strong base of national skills who are capable of serving the kingdom across various sectors. Lamea Association has announced that young applicants can register during the period June 4-22 by filling out the registration form at https://lamea.net/registration/. Public and Private sector entities will also be invited to nominate outstanding young employees for the programme. For her part, Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Vice Chairperson of Lamea Association said that this ed ition of the project is considered unique as registration is open to all young Bahrainis to ensure that everyone gets their chance in the project.
