Registration Period for Military and Security Colleges Announced for 2025-2026

Doha: The Unified Permanent Committee for the Selection of Candidates for Military Officer has officially announced the opening of registration for military and security colleges for the academic year 2025-2026, targeting holders of the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent. The registration period is set to commence on January 25 and will continue until March 26, 2026.

According to Qatar News Agency, the committee has established specific eligibility criteria for applicants. To be considered, individuals must be Qatari nationals and hold a General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent for the year 2026, achieving at least a 70 percent score. Additionally, applicants should be no older than 20 years at the time of application. A clean record is mandatory, as candidates must have a good reputation and conduct, with no previous convictions for a felony or crimes impacting honor or integrity, unless fully rehabilitated.

Furthermore, applicants must not have faced dismissal from public service, colleges, or scientific institutes due to a final disciplinary ruling. Employment with any government or quasi-government entity at the time of application is prohibited. To proceed with their application, candidates are required to successfully pass medical examinations, admission tests, and personal interviews.

The committee retains the authority to implement additional requirements or tests as necessary.
