Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecast relatively hot weather on Friday, following early morning fog and hazy conditions. Local clouds may form during the day, with a chance of light rain by afternoon, the daily weather report said, warning of poor horizontal visibility at first.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore, the weather will be hazy to misty at first, with scattered clouds at times, the report added. Inshore winds will be variable at first, becoming northwesterly to northwesterly at 5 to 15 KT. Offshore winds will also be variable initially, shifting to northwesterly to northwesterly at 4 to 14 KT.
Sea state inshore will range between 1 and 3 feet, while offshore it will range between 2 and 4 feet. Visibility inshore will be 4 - 8 km / 2 km or less at first, while offshore will be 4 - 9 km/ 3 km or less at first.
