Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) won the Digital Content Award 2023 in the category of inclusion and empowerment, at the MEET ICT Conference and Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) that was held under the patronage of Mohammed bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
Hassan Abdulaziz Murad, the Director of the Information Technology Department at the RHF, received the award earned by the RHF in recognition of its digital services offered to widows and orphans.
On this occasion; Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-General of RHF, extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, who launched the digital transformation initiative in RHF.
He stressed that winning this award came as a result of Shaikh Nasser’s directives through this initiative that aims to utilise innovative digital transformation in the provision of humanitarian services.
Dr. Al Sayed praised the efforts of all those who have contributed to creating this service, from RHF and the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA).
The service comes to streamline the application process for monthly financial support for orphans and widows through the e-government portal.
The RHF is keen on adopting the latest technologies to continue improving the quality of services it provides to Bahraini families, in a way that contributes to achieving the government’s vision and supports the iGA’s efforts in implementing digital transformation plans in the Kingdom.
