Moscow - Ma'an - Oil prices rose slightly in trading on Wednesday, in light of concerns about crude supplies due to tensions in the Middle East. By 08:20 Moscow time, West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by 0.19% to $85.39 per barrel, while global Brent crude futures rose by 0.17% to $89.60 per barrel. In yesterday's trading, Tuesday, oil prices recorded a decline of more than 1%, as US crude contracts reached $85.23 per barrel, while Brent contracts ended at $89.40 per barrel. The rise in black gold prices today came despite the American Petroleum Institute's estimates that crude oil inventories in the United States rose by 3.03 million barrels last week, and official government data is scheduled to be issued later today.
