Doha: The General Directorate of Communications and Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) received today a delegation from the Romanian Ministry of Interior, led by Police Quaestor Florin Bajenaru, Deputy Director-General of the General Directorate of European Affairs, Schengen and International Relations. The primary objective of the visit was to bolster cooperation and share expertise in technical systems and digital transformation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Romanian delegation was welcomed by Director of Systems Development at the Ministry, Lt. Col. Engineer Abdulaziz Al Asmar Al Ruwaili. During a briefing tour, the delegation was introduced to the latest systems and technological solutions employed by the MOI. This included advancements in e-services, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, as well as the digital infrastructure that supports security and service operations.
The visit also included a review of several strategic projects related to digital transformation. These projects are being implemented in alignment with the highest standards of cybersecurity and data governance, showcasing the MOI's dedication to technological advancement.
