The Royal Endurance Team will take part in the EI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses which will be held in the Republic of Estonia.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, directed to participate in the 120-kilometre race.
The team which arrived in the Republic of Estonia, is stepping up preparations, despite the rain, to ensure horses are ready to compete in the race and achieve good results, supported by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser is holder of the international title after winning the FEI World Endurance Championship for eight-year-old horses in Spain in October 2022.
Team director Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan said the royal squad is ready for the competition, hailing the follow-up and directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Royal Endurance Team will be represented by 8 riders who will take part in the international race- These are HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Salman Isa, Raed Mahmoud, Mohammed Abdulhamid Al Hashemi, Othman Al Awadhi, Isa Al Enzi, Khalid Youssef and Fahd Helal Al Khateri.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Khalifa is taking part in the EI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses in Estonia, following the positive results he had achieved in previous European competitions.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal hailed the support and follow-up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa which enabled him to reach higher levels in endurance competitions.
He pledged to spare no efforts to achieve positive results and continue enhancing the standing of the Royal Endurance Team in all world championships.
The Royal Endurance Team will take part tomorrow, Saturday, in the medical tests, along with other contenders, in the championship village. The team will also attend the meeting to get updated about the race route and other details.
