Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a group of its forces targeted formations in the Russian region of Kursk, noting that the Ukrainian forces lost more than 200 soldiers on this front over the past 24 hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry mentioned that units from the Russian 'North' group attacked formations of six Ukrainian brigades in four residential areas of the region.
The Ministry also explained that the total losses of Ukrainian forces since the beginning of combat operations on the Kursk front amounted to 69,320 soldiers, 400 tanks, 323 infantry fighting vehicles, 289 armored personnel carriers, 2,213 armored combat vehicles, 2,510 cars, 575 field guns, 52 rocket launchers, 26 anti-aircraft rocket launchers, 10 transport and ammunition vehicles, 120 electronic warfare stations, 18 anti-battery radars, 10 air defense radars, 56 pieces of engineering equipment, as well as 15 armored vehicles for repair and evacuation, and a command and staff vehicle.
It should be noted that reports from both countries regarding battlefield information are unverified due to the ongoing war and battles since February 2022.
