Russia Announces Control of New Town in Eastern Ukraine

Doha: Russia's Ministry of Defense announced that its forces have taken control of the town of Razliv in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that units from Russia's "Southern Group" forces had reinforced their positions and targeted personnel and equipment from three mechanized assault brigades, as well as a special forces brigade from the Ukrainian military, in several areas of the Donetsk region.

The Russia-Ukraine war, now entering its fourth year, continues to attract significant international attention due to its severe impacts on global supply chains, fuel prices, and international security and peace.
