Russia Downs 75 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported Wednesday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones overnight, over several Russian regions. The Ministry said that 45 drones were shot down over Krasnodar Krai, nine over Oryol Oblast, seven over the Black Sea, three over Rostov Oblast, three over Crimea, two over Astrakhan Oblast, two over Bryansk Oblast, two over Kursk Oblast, one over Voronezh Oblast, and one over the Sea of Azov.

According to Qatar News Agency, US-led diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and end the war that erupted in February 2022 are still ongoing, despite continued fighting on the ground and air attacks between the two sides.
