Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Monday its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 41 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions overnight.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that the drones were destroyed over several regions, including Krasnodar Krai, the Black Sea, and Bryansk Oblast. This incident adds to the ongoing conflict narrative, as both Russia and Ukraine continue to report daily on intercepted attacks from each other.

Since the war began, now entering its fourth year, these exchanges of claims have become a regular occurrence. Both sides frequently publicize their defense operations, though independent verification remains elusive due to the complexities and dangers within the region.
