The Russian Defense Ministry announced Sunday that its air defense systems destroyed 158 Ukrainian drones over the territories of several Russian regions. Ukrainian attempts to carry out drone attacks against targets on Russian territory were thwarted last night, the Ministry said in a statement. The mutual attacks between Kyiv and Moscow have continued since 2022, and have even taken an escalating path with the unprecedented Ukrainian incursion into Russian territory in the border Kursk region in August, while Russian forces maintain their priority of advancing in eastern Ukraine.
