Moscow, Russian air defenses shot down 12 Ukrainian drones on Monday, targeting several regions in the southwest of the country. New attempts by the Kyiv regime to launch drone attacks on Russian territory were thwarted Sunday night. Russian air defense systems shot down one drone over Bryansk, one drone over Belgorod, four drones over Krasnodar in southwestern Russia, and six drones over Oryol in western Russia, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated. Ukraine has stepped up its drone attacks on Russian regions in recent months. Russia began a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear that it is close to ending it, in light of Moscows assertion that its special operation will continue until its full goals are achieved.
