Russian air defense systems destroyed on Monday 16 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Kursk and Bryansk, without casualties or material damage reported. The acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov said that Russian air defense fighters shot down seven Ukrainian drones over Fatezhsky, Konyshyovsky, Kurchatovsky and Kursky districts. For his part, Governor of Bryansk Province Alexander Bogomaz said in a statement that an attempt to carry out an attack using drones was thwarted, with no casualties or any material damage reported. The Ukrainian armed forces target, on an almost daily basis, the Russian border areas in Crimea, and the provinces of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov, with drones and missiles. The Russian-Ukrainian conflict is still continuing as it enters its third year, without any indication of a diplomatic breakthrough leading to an imminent end to this crisis.
