The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that three Ukrainian drones were shot down over the territory of the Russian Federation. A statement issued by the Ministry said that Ukrainian attempts to launch drone attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation were thwarted, adding that its air defense systems shot down two drones over the Kursk and Belgorod provinces, and another drone over the Azov Sea. Ukraine has stepped up its drone attacks on Russian regions in recent months. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and asserts it will continue until its full goals are achieved. Source: Qatar News Agency
