Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced taking control of three new towns in Russia's Kursk region.
According to Qatar News Agency, units from the Russian "North" group successfully liberated the towns of Malaya Lokhnya, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, and Kositsa. The ministry added that its forces also targeted Ukrainian military formations in the areas of Bogatyr, Fedorovka, Visiloy, Voskrisenka, Dniproenergiya, and Razliv in the Donetsk region, destroying numerous pieces of Ukrainian military equipment in the process.
Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported regaining control of the town of Lebedevka in the Kursk region and the capture of Novenke in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Sumy.
