Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that Ukrainian forces suffered approximately 1,555 casualties in the past 24 hours as a result of military operations across various battlefronts.
According to Qatar News Agency, in its daily report on the military operations in Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that its forces regained control of the towns of Vysukuy in Sumy and Svetloy in Donetsk.
The report added that Russian air defenses shot down a long-range Neptune missile, in addition to downing 118 Ukrainian drones.
It is worth noting that Ukraine and Russia have been exchanging reports of drone and missile strikes since the outbreak of their conflict in February 2022, resulting in casualties and damage to infrastructure. Meanwhile, ground battles continue alongside US-led talks aimed at achieving a ceasefire between the two sides.
