The Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that Russian air defenses shot down 92 Ukrainian drones over eight regions of Russia Wednesday night. The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that 47 drones were destroyed over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, 12 over the territory of Kursk Oblast, 9 over the territory of Rostov, 4 over the territory of Bryansk, 2 over Belgorod and the Republic of Crimea, 1 over the territory of Voronezh, and 15 over the Sea of Azov. On Feb. 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine and it does not appear that it is close to laying down its weapons, in light of Moscow's emphasis on continuing its operation until all its goals are achieved.
