Doha: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties, during a phone call on Monday. The two sides also touched on resolving issues in the Middle East region and coordinated positions on the Iranian nuclear program.

According to Qatar News Agency, both officials highlighted the importance of enhancing diplomatic efforts to resolve regional conflicts. When it comes to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, they stressed the need to establish a sustainable peace based on international law.
