Moscow: Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow remains in contact with Washington regarding Ukraine.
According to Qatar News Agency, Peskov affirmed that Russia welcomes the ongoing US efforts aimed at creating the appropriate conditions for reaching a settlement on Ukraine, adding that Russia is receiving information about relevant developments.
He noted that each round of contacts regarding Ukraine is a step toward a settlement, one that takes Russian interests into account.
The Russian Presidential Press Secretary hoped that the positive US efforts continue, adding that Russia remains open to negotiations.
