Saudi Arabia and China Explore Strategic Economic Partnerships

Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China have engaged in discussions to bolster joint economic and financial cooperation. This dialogue unfolded during the fourth meeting of the financial side of the Saudi-Chinese High-Level Joint Committee, which was conducted via video conference. The meeting was co-chaired by Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan and his Chinese counterpart Lan Fu.

According to Qatar News Agency, the participants of the meeting delved into a range of topics, including opportunities for both bilateral and multilateral economic and financial cooperation. Key points of discussion included enhancing the effectiveness of international financial institutions and strengthening the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and China.

The meeting also facilitated an exchange of proposals and viewpoints aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across various economic and financial domains. These include tax policies, capital markets, banking legislation, financing, infrastructure development, and public-private partnerships.
