Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has expressed its support for the recent peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which was facilitated by the United States.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the signing of the agreement, emphasizing its significance in meeting the hopes and aspirations of the two nations for development and prosperity. The Ministry highlighted that this milestone would have positive implications for regional and international security and peace.

The Ministry also praised the diplomatic efforts and constructive role played by the United States and the State of Qatar in bringing about this agreement. Saudi Arabia remains hopeful that this development will lead to substantial benefits for the involved nations and the broader international community.
