Saudi arabia: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has issued a stern condemnation of Iran's targeting of the Saudi tanker 'Wedyan' and the Qatari tanker 'Al Rekayyat' as they were passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The Kingdom emphasized that these actions are an assault on the security and safety of international navigation, as well as on global energy supplies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Tuesday highlighting that Iran's repeated attacks represent a serious breach of international law and norms. The ministry pointed to the violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2,817, which ensures freedom of navigation and the safe passage of maritime traffic.

The ministry has urged Iran to halt all activities that pose a threat to regional security, international maritime navigation, and global energy supplies. Saudi Arabia holds Iran entirely accountable for the attacks and the associated damage and repercussions.
