Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Actions and Urges Global Intervention

Doha: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned the violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to these violations. Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, Abdulmohsen bin Khathaila, delivered a speech before the Human Rights Council discussing the human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, bin Khathaila emphasized the Kingdom's rejection of the Israeli occupation's actions, specifically highlighting the establishment of an agency aimed at displacing Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the ratification of the separation of 13 illegal settlement neighborhoods in the West Bank. He labeled these actions as violations of both international law and international humanitarian law.

Bin Khathaila also condemned the Israeli bombing of Syrian territories, stating that these attacks pose a threat to the security and stability of Syria and the broader region. He urged the international community to take responsibility and stop all Israeli military operations in both Palestinian and Syrian territories.

He concluded by asserting that peace hinges on the Palestinian people's attainment of their legitimate rights, including the creation of an independent state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Furthermore, he reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's solidarity with Syria, urging respect for its sovereignty and an end to actions that jeopardize its security and stability.
