Saudi Arabia Signs MoUs for Mineral Resources Cooperation with Chile, Canada, Brazil

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia signed three international memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for cooperation in the field of mineral resources with Chile, Canada, and Brazil. The agreements were formalized during the Fifth International Ministerial Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Mining Affairs, which was hosted by Riyadh from January 13 to 15.

According to Qatar News Agency, the signing ceremonies included a MoU with the Chilean Ministry of Mines focusing on mineral resources cooperation, a MoU with the Canadian Department of Natural Resources, and a MoU with the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy, all aimed at enhancing collaboration in the mineral resources sector.

The Fifth International Ministerial Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Mining Affairs was part of the International Mining Conference organized by the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The conference was themed "Minerals: Meeting the Challenges for a New Era of Development" and concluded earlier Tuesday in Riyadh.
