Saudi Council of Ministers Says Region’s Security Hinges Upon Finding Solution for Palestinian Cause

Riyadh: The Saudi Council of Ministers emphasized that the security of the Middle East region hinges upon promptly finding a just and comprehensive solution for the Palestinian cause based on international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, as well as the establishment of the Palestinian State on the 1967 border with East Jerusalem as its capital.

According to Qatar News Agency, during its session convened on Wednesday, chaired by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Council stressed the Kingdom's efforts to accelerate the pace of Syria's economic recovery. It reiterated its call on regional and international financial institutions to resume their operations and expand them in Syria, in addition to supporting the ambitions of its people toward a bright future of decent living.

In addition, the Council lauded the outcomes of the Second Meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council, along with the growing economic, trade, and investment ties between the two countries, as well as the pursuit of boosting bilateral cooperation in other domains.
