Doha: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed Monday with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel Aati bilateral cooperation relations and regional and international developments, primarily the situation in the Gaza Strip. The two sides addressed intensifying bilateral cooperation mechanisms in various fields and ways to enhance joint coordination on issues of concern to both countries and serving their common interests.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the Saudi and Egyptian foreign ministers focused on strengthening the bonds between the two nations and exploring avenues for improved collaboration. The ministers also deliberated on key regional challenges, with particular emphasis on the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip, aiming to identify opportunities for joint action to support stability and peace in the region.
