Doha: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed Tuesday with his Iraqi counterpart Thabet Mohammed Al-Abbasi the latest regional developments and efforts to reduce tensions. The talks over the phone also addressed the progress made in bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in the military and defense fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation highlighted the commitment of both nations to work collaboratively towards stabilizing the region. Both ministers expressed their mutual interest in enhancing cooperation in defense matters, emphasizing the importance of strong bilateral ties in ensuring regional security.
