Cairo, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, during his official visit to Cairo. The ministers held an official session of talks, during which they reviewed relations in various fields and explored the means to support and strengthen them in a manner that aligns with the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), they discussed the final preparations for the launch of the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the President of Egypt. The two ministers further addressed intensifying efforts on regional and international issues of common interest, particularly the crisis in the Gaza Strip.
