Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the launch of the Umrah season for the Hijri year 1447, commencing with the opening of visa issuance for international pilgrims starting Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry confirmed that Umrah permits for international visitors will be available from Wednesday via the "Nusuk" app, a unified digital platform offering government services. This app allows users to easily book and obtain permits and provides a range of digital services aimed at enhancing the experience of Umrah performers. The ministry highlighted that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early, in collaboration with relevant authorities, to ensure smooth procedures and continuous improvement.
Additionally, efforts are being made to broaden digital and awareness services in various languages, aiming to facilitate a seamless experience for pilgrims worldwide.
