Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended Wednesday's trading session with a decrease of 206.11 points, closing at 11,096.65 points. The total value of trades for the day reached SR 6.8 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the volume of traded shares amounted to 353 million. Out of all the companies on the exchange, 23 recorded increases in their value, whereas 225 companies witnessed a decline.
In addition, the Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index (Nomu) also closed on a lower note, dropping by 103.58 points to settle at 28,369.89 points. Trades on the Nomu were valued at SR 25 million, with the volume of traded shares reaching 2 million.
