Saudi Stock Index Closes Higher with Increased Trading Activity

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index closed Wednesday up by 35.85 points, reaching 10,948.28 points, with trading valued at SR 4.7 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the volume of shares traded reached 234 million shares, with 185 companies recording gains and 71 companies recording losses.

The parallel Saudi stock index (Nomu) also closed higher today, rising by 9.84 points to reach 23,368.02 points, with trading valued at SR 13 million and a volume of over one million shares traded.
