Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower Following Day’s Trading

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index closed on Monday down by 97.75 points, reaching 11,366.79 points, with trading valued at SAR 5.1 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the trading session, 258 million shares were traded. The shares of 33 companies rose in value, while the shares of 226 companies declined.

The parallel Saudi stock market index (Nomu) experienced a downturn as well, closing down 205.04 points, reaching 22,863.75 points. The trading value for Nomu was SAR 24 million, with a volume of over 2.3 million shares traded.
