Saudi Stock Market Sees Gains in Midweek Trading

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock market index closed today with a gain of 28.65 points, reaching a final value of 10,804.11 points. The trading activity on the market was robust, with a total value of SAR 4 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a volume of 178 million shares, with 130 companies experiencing an increase in their share values, while 121 companies saw a decline. This positive movement comes amid a broader trend of market fluctuations.

The Saudi parallel market index, known as Nomu, also recorded gains. It ended the day up by 42.42 points, reaching 22,072.85 points. The trading for Nomu had a value of SAR 503 million, with over 951 thousand shares changing hands.

This positive performance on both the main and parallel markets reflects investor confidence and active engagement in the Saudi stock market.
