Gaza City: Seven Palestinians, including five members of the same family, were killed and others injured early on Saturday in Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting various areas in northern and southern Gaza.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli occupation warplanes bombed a tent sheltering displaced individuals in Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, killing five people from a single family.
At the same time, the agency reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of Palestinians in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, resulting in one death, alongside artillery shelling that hit areas east of Al-Shuja Siya.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation naval forces opened heavy fire toward the coast of Rafah in southern Gaza, killing one more Palestinian. Additionally, two others were injured in an artillery strike on Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah.
The ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza continues to drive the humanitarian situation toward total collapse. The territory effectively entered a state of famine, with food supplies nearly depleted and systematic starvation policies in place. The United Nations issued warnings of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of besieged civilians.
