Seven Workers Killed in Coal Mine Accident in Eastern China’s Fujian Province

Datian county: Seven workers were killed Friday in a coal mine in Datian County, eastern China's Fujian Province. Local authorities reported that the accident occurred at the Shuijingkeng Mine, operated by Fujian Guangfeng Mining Co., Ltd.

According to Qatar News Agency, workers were reported missing underground, prompting immediate rescue efforts. Seven victims were recovered from the site, while one injured worker managed to escape the incident.

The authorities have stated that investigations are underway to determine the causes of the accident. However, there has been no indication yet as to whether the rescue operations have been concluded.
