Sharjah: The ninth edition of the Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival has concluded, featuring theatrical productions from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, and Libya.

According to Qatar News Agency, the festival also included a program of intellectual and critical discussions, along with competitions and interactive activities. Launched in 2015, the Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival explores the links between traditional arts developed by Arab desert communities and contemporary theatre. Over the years, it has become a cultural platform dedicated to preserving and developing this distinctive artistic and cultural connection.
