Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Elected President of Olympic Council of Asia

Doha: In their editorials on Tuesday, Qatari newspapers focused on the election of HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, as President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya newspaper highlighted that the election of Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani as President of the OCA embodies the Asian continent's absolute confidence in Qatari sports cadres and confirms the State of Qatar's readiness to lead the next phase of Asian sport.
