Manama, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, the Minister of Social Development, attended the inauguration of the 2nd GCC International CSR Conference and Award, under the theme 'Strategic practices for a better tomorrow'. The conference is organised by Bahrain CSR Society and Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility in Saudi Arabia. The conference aims to enhance cooperation between government and private bodies in the field of social responsibility, and to establish a platform for thought leaders from various domains and industries to exchange ideas, strategies, best practices, and success stories in social responsibility and sustainable development. The event also celebrates the efforts and achievements in the field of social responsibility, raises awareness on the importance of social responsibility and highlights exemplary companies and institutions in implementing the principles of social responsibility.
