Mogadishu: Deputy Commander of the Somali Army Madi Nuri Sheikh, held discussions on Friday with the visiting Chief of the Italian Joint Chiefs of Staff Luciano Portolano. The talks focused on enhancing cooperation and partnership between the armed forces of Somalia and Italy in various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered a number of topics of common interest, highlighting the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen their military ties and work collaboratively on shared objectives.
