Barcelona: Barcelona are on the brink of securing the Spanish La Liga title after a dramatic 4-3 victory over rivals Real Madrid on Sunday in the 35th round, with just three games remaining in the season.
According to Qatar News Agency, Real Madrid took an early lead with two goals from French forward Kylian Mbappe in the 5th and 14th minutes. Barcelona responded with a flurry of four goals, courtesy of Eric Garca, Lamine Yamal, and two from Raphinha, in the 19th, 32nd, 34th, and 45th minutes.
In the second half, Mbappe narrowed the gap for Real Madrid with a third goal, completing his hat-trick in the 70th minute.
This victory marks Barcelona's 26th of the season, extending their lead atop the standings. With 82 points, they are now seven points clear of Real Madrid, who remain in second place.
Additionally, this is Barcelona's fourth win over Real Madrid this season, following their 4-0 triumph in the first-leg fixture, a 5-2 victory in the Super Cup final, and a 3-2 win after extra time in the Copa del Rey final.
