Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri held a phone call European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell discussed the developments in Lebanon as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression. The two sides discussed the need for an immediate ceasefire and the deployment of the Lebanese army to the international borders in implementation of UN Resolution 1701, as well as the importance of electing the President of the Lebanese Republic.
