Port sudan: Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of the Sudan, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met in Port Sudan on Wednesday with Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim ElKhereiji. Talks during the meeting focused on peace-achieving efforts in Sudan to effectuate its security and stability, as well as safeguard Sudan's unity and its legitimate institutions.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides discussed developments in Sudan and the ongoing efforts thereon.
