Muscat: Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq on Sunday received a written message from Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam pertaining to the bilateral relationship and cooperation between the two countries. The message was handed over to Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi by the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, Dato Erywan, during their meeting in Muscat.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting discussed the bilateral relationship and underscored the joint commitment to reinforcing cooperation in wide-ranging fields, particularly in the economic and commercial areas. There was a particular focus on developing partnership in the renewable energy field, as well as in tourism and infrastructure projects. In addition, both sides shared viewpoints on a range of issues and regional and global developments.
