Manama, Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sunni Endowments, inaugurated Seyadi Mosque today in Muharraq. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) was present. Dr. Al Hajeri underscored the expansion of construction and reconstruction projects of places of worship in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed lauded the cooperation and support that BACA received from its partners and relevant institutions to implement the project, including the Islamic Development Bank and the Sunni Endowments Council.
