Washington, HE Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, has participated in the annual Human Capital Project (HCP) Ministerial Conclave, held in Washington D.C. The HCP Ministerial Conclave was held on the sidelines of the 2024 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), with the participation of several WBG officials, in addition to the relevant ministers and experts. The HCP is a global effort to accelerate more and better investments in people for greater equity and economic growth. It is attended by ministers of finance, planning, and budget from over 90 HCP countries, as well as WBG leadership, and prominent global voices from civil society and the private sector. This year's Conclave focused on the role of digital transformation in supporting and developing human capital. In this regard, the participants discussed ways to harness artificial intelligence and other technologi es to develop human capital. They also exchanged experiences on digital solutions that contribute to improving health and educational services in a way that supports the achievement of sustainable development goals.
